This little journey started in April 2014 after I had been retrenched and found myself wondering what to do next.
Between job hunting and interviews I started doing things around the house and had seen a Plant Box made from Pallets and decided to make one which sparked the beginning of this adventure, and what an adventure it has been!
We officially started in a Factory in November 2014. It was Geoff (a carpenter) and myself, trying new designs, experimenting with new ideas and tools, advertising everywhere I could to try to sell Coffee Tables which I thought would be our best seller by far.
We have grown and learnt so much over the years. It's been an amazing journey so far, that little spark from the Plant Box became a small fire and then just spread.
It's great to think and hard to believe that what we make comes from Pallets, disregarded wood which would have been thrown into landfills and polluted our country.
We are taking recycling to the next level by up-cycling and making beautiful Furniture.
We now have 2 Factories and a great team of over 10 guys, most of which came to work for us with minimal carpentry skills and they have learnt a lot here. We couldn't be happier!
We get to make people smile and clean up our country, doing our little part to make our Home a better place - which in the end is all we need to do.
